How to make Chocolate Christmas Bark | Blogmas #21

21 Dec 2017

Hello everyone, the other day I saw Evie from What Evie Did had made some chocolate Christmas bark and thought this was an amazing idea and would maybe make great stocking fillers and Christmas Gifts. I thought I would share with you my take on this recipe and share with you what ingredients I used and how I made them.

Ingredients
2 small bars of Cadbury's Chocolate
gingerbread men cupcake toppers
sprinkles of your choice
Edible glitter

What you will need
Baking tray
grease proof paper
bowl
saucepan

How to Make the Bark
  1. To begin, I placed the two chocolate bars into a bowl that was placed over a saucepan with boiling water in over the hob.
  2. I then let that melt until all the pieces had melted into a smooth liquid.
  3. I then made sure I had some grease proof paper on a baking tray and poured the chocolate onto the tray.
  4. Whilst the chocolate is still melted, begin to place the little gingerbread men onto the chocolate.
  5. I then took all sorts of different sprinkles and sprinkled these over the chocolate.
  6. You will then want to place this is in the fridge for 30-60 minutes to allow it to set before the fun part.
  7. You will then take a rolling pin and break the chocolate into pieces.
  8. You can then take a small acetate bag and place the pieces into it and tie with some ribbon to make a lovely Christmas present or stocking filler.

I hope you enjoyed this post, see you next time xxx
