Review- The Balm*

20 May 2016

Hello everyone, today's post is all about the Balm.I was lucky enough to receive these products from them a some months ago and I could not believe it when i opened the package! Its taken me a while to review them but I have finally got round to it. Thank you so much to the Balm for sending me these items I appreciate it so so much.

Firstly, I received the Nude Tude palette* which I had wanted to try for such a long time, and If im honest, I feel like these eye shadows are so much more pigmented and buttery than the urban decay shadows, as much as I love them I think the Balm ones are highly under rated. All of the shades are so pretty and can be used for both day and night looks,

I also received the Mary Lou manizer* which was another product that I really wanted to try as I had heard so many good things about it. This is probably the best highlighter I have ever used, if your looking for a strong pigmented highlight this is the one for you.

I had never heard of the Instain blushes* before but Im so glad I was able to try one. This one is in the shade 'houndstooth' and is a really lovely mauve pink shade which is great for both summer and winter. You also dont need a lot of product as it goes a very long way.

The Time Balm concealer* is a great one if your looking for high coverage. I found that you need to warm it up a little in your hands before you use it to make it a little easier to blend but other than that, I love it, especially for when Im having a no make up make up day and I can just put this on my blemishes.

Finally, I received one of their lipsticks in the shade 'mai billsbepaid'*. This shade I believe is very similar to MAC Velvet Teddy and is great if you love browny/ pink nudes. Personally I feel like these types of shades dont really suit me but mixed with more pinky shades I love it.

Thankyou so much for reading and also to the Balm for providing me with such a great range of products. xx

  1. I have wanted the Nude Tude palette for such a long time but because I have so many eyeshadow palette's I'm trying to buy a few different makeup items but I don't think I can resist much longer since I'm seeing it everywhere, it looks amazing!
